The NRLC is a not-for-profit association and represents member railroads in dealing with representatives of organized employees on a national level in matters involving railroad labor relations, health and welfare benefits, appropriate matters before the courts, Congressional committees, and other governmental bodies, and other matters of interest or concern to its members. Membership is open to any railroad within the continental United States.
